Bay of Plenty
Web development across the Bay of Plenty
From Katikati to Whakatāne and inland to Rotorua, we build websites, online stores and web apps for Bay of Plenty businesses, from our base in Mount Maunganui.
A region of growers, makers and hosts
The Bay of Plenty economy is unlike anywhere else in New Zealand. Te Puke calls itself the kiwifruit capital of the world. Katikati and the western Bay grow avocados and citrus. Rotorua runs on tourism, geothermal attractions and forestry. Whakatāne is the gateway to the eastern Bay, with fishing, farming and outdoor tourism. And Papamoa has become one of the fastest-growing communities in the Bay.
Each of those businesses needs something different from a website, so we do not start from a template. We start from how you sell and who you sell to.
What we build around the Bay
Some of the projects that fit the region best:
- Horticulture and packhouses: grower portals, staff rostering and seasonal recruitment pages
- Tourism and accommodation in Rotorua and the eastern Bay: booking, payments and multilingual pages
- Papamoa and Te Puke trades and services: local websites that rank in your own suburb
- Producers and makers: online stores to sell direct, across New Zealand
- Community organisations and clubs: membership, events and donations
Reaching visitors in their own language
Bay of Plenty tourism and horticulture both attract people from overseas, as visitors and as seasonal workers. We build multilingual websites properly, with a separate, indexable page for each language and the tags that tell Google which version to show. This site runs in English and Spanish on exactly that setup.
How we work with clients outside Tauranga
Distance is rarely a problem. Most projects run online: the quote builder for pricing, video calls for workshops, and a private preview link so you can check progress on your own phone. When meeting in person helps, Te Puke, Papamoa and Katikati are a short drive from the Mount, and we are happy to travel further for the right project.
Frequently asked questions
Do you travel to Rotorua or Whakatāne?
For workshops or launches, yes. Day-to-day work happens online, so being further from Tauranga does not slow your project down.
Can you build a recruitment page for seasonal workers?
Yes. Seasonal job pages with application forms, multiple languages and notifications are a good fit for growers and packhouses.
Is pricing different outside Tauranga?
No. Our prices are the same across the Bay of Plenty and New Zealand, shown in NZD before GST.
